I am in the mood to read a good military novel. Any suggestions?

One of my favorite books of all time is called Soldier Boys. It is a story of two boys during World War 2 who are on completely different sides: Spence is an American paratrooper, and Deiter is a newly recruited Nazi ready to serve his Fuhrer and the Reich. Both are passionate about their cause and survive many intense battles. At the end, however, they meet up in a dynamic conclusion that leaves completely surprised. I highly recommend it for the incredible action, suspense, and the emtions it evokes.

Not sure if you're in the mood for fiction or nonfiction, but here are some.
A Soldier's Journal-Nonfiction
All-American: Why I Believe in Football, God, and the War in Iraq-Nonfiction
Fallen Angels-fiction(based in Vietnam War)
