My husband was critisizing me this morning because I am an avid watcher of FOX NEWS and many other news outlets. He said that he is giving up watching the regular network news because it is all too depressing to watch anymore. Are other Americans feeling this way? I just like to keep informed whatever the news may be. Fox news is good at showing and reporting all sides of a story, but CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC& CBS are truly only reporting on how bad this world really is. Why don't responsible journalists do more stories on the good things in the world? And I'm not talking about stories of lost and found puppies, I'm talking about real true to life HAPPY stories.

I have been done watching the news for over 20 years now. For americans love to watch all the violence, house burnings with ppl left in the homes I mean the only way for us to have had the good stories was for us to have boycotted the news outlets years ago. Since the 4/5/n11:00 news ratings havent dropped they feel as if thats whats the ppl want to c so why change the protocol. If the ppl wanted change in the news all they had to do was stop watching, however since it hasnt n wont then by them thats okay. Sadly to say at this point it too late.

You sadly have the wool pulled over your eyes!! Fox new is owned by George bush's cousin. How could you possible think that you would get truth and not a one sided view from a news station owned by the family of the president. CNN is the best of all of them because they have reporters that speak freely rather than from a script. PLEASE BE AWARE!

i might gaze at a few headlines, but yes i dont read any newspapers, mags or listen to talk radio or even watch tv news anymore, and the only thing that happened to me is reduced stress

usually the news doesnt apply to me and if it does i cant do anything about it - so let other people spin their wheels

personal experience is the way to truth
