I just bought the same laptop as urs too....just recently. on the keyboard, there's some function that has the word "quickplay" look for that word. it has the image of some kind of arrow circular next to the DVD buttom...It's color blue also...click on it and it should pop up... after that click on the icon that contains three pictures video, camera, and music...click on that. then it'll show u a list...double click on hp pavilion webcame and there you have it.

If its USB - plug it in when the pc is on..
If it cant find drivers - put in the Manuf. disk that came with it.
If you want all the cool features install the disk first then either after the install or when prompted by the install, attach the Cam.
