I was in America 10 years ago and I remember I had something for breakfast but I don't remember what was the name. It was a little bag of mix. You just had to add milk or water but it in the microwave and it was like mashed potatoes but kind of only, it was more like couscous. There were different flavors, mins was cheese. Can you please tell me the name of that and if it still exist? Thanks.

Sounds like grits.

Grits is a type of maize porridge and a food common in the Southern United States yet I know quite a few people who enjoy grits in the southwestern states too. Grits consists of coarsely ground corn. This is similar to many other thick maize-based porridge's from around the world.

I like cheese grits myself. I have also eaten grits with butter and honey too.

I think that might have been grits. I don't eat them, but I know a lot of folks like them with cheese.
