I am a female college student and most of the ones that I have found are for males!!! I love history and want to particapate (spelling is wrong, sorry) but since I am girl and most the groups are married men....... I love period clothing and already have some... I just want some wear to show it off!

There are re-enactments of the Civil War all over this country. Some of the groups even travel around to different states to bring the history to everyone. I personally love watching them. They are very authentic with their costumes and even their food. Since women didn't really fight in the civil war you may have a hard time finding someone to let you participate because many of the groups like to be authentic but you may be able to be a nurse or something.
