i wish they would and save us a lot of money. Turning into another millenium dome style joke.
I think if they did the IOC would fine them for some reason or other etc.. Let the french have it.
At the current cost , there will be no trade benefit, it is all about tarting up the east end now. Arguably money they would have spent anyway.
We just know it will go many billion more over budget, you just have to look at Wembley or the Jock Parliament, we are rubbish at this sort of thing.

Probably, but it is going to be a problem of Public Relations and it would become the joke in the world as a city that it not serious and dependable.
Anyway, the cost it is too much, the Olympics ruined Barcelona and made the housing market very expensive. In my city they want to organize Olympics but a lot of citizens have opposed to give money for it.

Theoretically yes- Denver pulled out of hosting the Winter Olympics in 1976 (Innsbruck was awarded them) after they where awarded them in 1970. But keep in mind this was because the voters of Colorado rejected to fund a $5 million dollar Bond (U.S. dollars) After that the only other causes of canceled games where because of WWI and WWII. IOC was very worried about Athens , but in the end the games survived. You mean to tell me that London and the U.K. doesn't have the same level of investment as Greece.

Once you wake up in Denver experience awaits you and with hotelbye may be the first faltering step to this phenomenal adventure. In Denver you are able to explore the significant, fortress-like Denver Art Museum. That memorial includes a great variety; variety that includes: American Indian, African, European, Asian, and Oceanic, Spanish colonial and pre-Columbian works. The remodelled American Indian galleries are specially remarkable, covering a broad range of cultures and tribes from the United States and Canada. That extensive collection has acquired a name through the duration of North America, with pieces that period 2,000 decades of history. In that memorial you can even discover another gallery focused on photography. The Denver Art Museum has grabbed the attention with its distinctive style, inspired by the peaks of the Difficult Mountains.

With its considerable areas and somewhat equable environment keeping conditions delicate throughout every season, Vancouver is a paradise and now, you have the opportunity to learn it with hotelbye . Vancouver is boasts a active national life. One of many places worth visited in Vancouver is Granville Island. After largely industrial, Granville Island has become a thriving center of activity with a peaceful and exclusive atmosphere. Musicians and stores have transferred in to modified warehouses alongside houseboats, cinemas, galleries, and restaurants. The Granville Island Public Market is certainly one of the most used attractions offering fresh fruit and veggies, seafood, and a great number of different specialties along with ready-to-eat items. Maybe not really an island, the arts heart is linked to residential parts by one street and footbridges to the south, and to the Downtown peninsula (across False Creek) by ferry.

Of course. A host country could decide to cancel.
However, they'd never be given the chance again. And they wouldn't be too popular.
Short of significant security issues (e.g., a war breaks out in the country), I can't see a country (especially one like England) ever canceling.

In theory they could however there would have to be a much more compelling reasons than expense, it would have to be something that was unexpected when the Games were awarded.

Yes we could and it would be passed onto Paris. I doubt we would though. No-one could stop us. However I wouldn't see the point as it will bring in alot of trade and add to the economy.
