Some do, and some don't. As an example, I am a bottom, and that's all I ever do. My ex was versatile. He could top or bottom. My date last night was a total top. He would never ever bottom. It's all a matter of what makes you and your partner feel the best. It's mostly a personal preference.

With the majority on this one depends on the guys.
Iam a vers.-bottom so I can change roles and would bother me, actually enjoy it.
As for "rules" there is no specific rule book out there just what makes them feel good. I would say as the exceptions would go the only areas I know of are in the BDSM area where it might be totally submissive and never think of topping, but that brings in a whole genre of questions.

I dont think there is a rule, I mean I'm a bottom and I would never change roles - however I guess it depends on they the individual feels at the time.

No, do you switch off with your husband? Have you ever stopped to think that penile penetration is not the wherewithal of gay sex? Of course you haven't, you live in a small world of small people with small ideas all lined up like shiney pennies in row.

Some do, some don't.
Many are exclusively top, many are exclusively bottom. There are many who can be either (versitile).
