Here is my list:

1) Nintendo game systems. Getting to pay arcade games at home was great. Before, you would waste tons of money in arcades.

2) Personal Computers. Word processing, Internet, games etc. A great invention for sure.

3) Cell phones. Before if you wanted to talk to someone if you were out and about, you had to find a phone booth. Not after this invention. Now you can contact anyone anytime, almost anywhere. And to top that off , they have TV, camera.video, and Internet capabilities to boot. Another winner for sure.

4) Microwaves. Before, you would have to warm an oven up or cook a second time on a stove. Now you can just take leftovers, fire it into the microwave and presto: hot food. Also great for melting cheese and other uses. A must for the fast pace of life today.

5) Video/DVD players and recorders. Instead of having to go to a movie theatre, you can rent or buy a movie and watch it in the comfort of your own home. You can also record a movie or a TV show with a recorder. Wonderful way to spend a quiet night at home with your family of love one.

These inventions have made life a lot easier. Could have included things like cars and such but they are not cool and are part of a problem we face in life today with global warming and such.

So there it is. I hope you like it.

On the serious side:
1. Electricity - Just about everything we do today requires it.
2. The Printing Press - Among other things the printed word recorded history.
3. The Wheel - for obvious reasons.
4. The electric light - Kinda brought us out of the "dark" ages.
5. Recording tape, etc. - Not only can we read about history, etc, but now we can see and hear it.

Not too serious:
1. Your favorite Sport - mine is Pool.
2. Your favorite Music - I like Southern Rock.
3. For the ladies: Any home appliance that makes your life better. (Or for your husband)
4. Ball Point Pen - No more dipping a feather in messy ink.
5. Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, White Lighting or Mad Dog 20-20.

1) Space travel it's like the movie 2001 is getting closer and closer. Now they just need to set it up for us civilians.
2) The computer because I am a total addict.
3) The cell phone. I could not live without mine. I remember when we didn't have cell phones and an emergency would come up on the road and you'd have to walk to find a phone.
4) There is this back machine at my doctor's office that relieves back pain (I can't remember what it's called but it really helps relieve back pain.)
5) Transportation we can get around a lot quicker in a car, plane, or train. A lot faster than a horse and carriage.

1. The computer because ....if there was no computer there would be no P&S. (Could you imagine doing this through snail mail??)
2. Medication used for mental ailments. That includes all things from nervousness to depression to Bi-Polar. They do help people have a more level, normal life experiences.
3.Coffee!! There really is no existence, especially in the mornings, without coffee. The coffee pot, brewing mechanism, is really necessary, I could live without that. Just give me the coffee and I'll find "some way" to get it into my system.
4. The electric can opener. You'd have to know me, but with out this, or my neighbor, I'd never get a can open. SO uncoordinated. One neighbor got so tired of opening cans for me, he bought me an electric one for Christmas.
5. Parents. No matter how much of a pain they are, especially when you're younger, most will always be there, supporting you through it all. Always nice to have a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on, or some one to just 'vent' to.
