This is for everyone who doesn't get it...it is from the PETA website:

PETA is asking KFC to eliminate the worst abuses that chickens suffer on the factory farms and in the slaughterhouses of its suppliers, including live scalding, life-long crippling, and painful debeaking. The more than 850 million chickens killed each year for KFC are tortured in ways that would result in felony cruelty-to-animals charges if cats or dogs were the victims, but KFC still refuses to make changes. As the leader in the chicken industry, KFC has a responsibility to ensure that the chickens raised for its buckets are protected from the worst cruelties.

Probably not, seeing as how KFC has been around waaaaay longer.

And KFC has chicken for a buck 99. I don't see Peta handing out any cheap food.

I don't give a crap. I raise my own chicken and I teach my kids the difference between humans and animals.
A couple of days ago I went to get a chicken to make a soup and I picked this nice plump rooster. My 4 year old girl is like "We're gonna kill it and I'm gonna eat its heart"... and then my 2 yr old shows up right when I'm chopping its head off and she says "why are you killing it daddy"? I said: "So we can eat it".. and her response was "oh .. ok" She has no problem with it... They all love to help clean it and they get a free anatomy class from it.
My 6 yr old is an animal lover with a soft heart. She couldn't bear to see it die, and she said "Daddy, it's not fun to kill animals". My response was "No it's not, but we don't do it for fun. We do it for food." Now she's ok with it. We love animals, and we treat them with compassion and kindness, and we do everything we can to minimize suffering.

I hope so. Last time I went through the drivethru, some BBW called me cracker and all I got was a $5 gift certificate from the manager.

I think they already did since KFC changed the recipe to be rid of the bad fats the taste got bad.

But as the comedian said... I don't know what they do to those chickens... but... IT'S DELICIOUS!
