No women aren't smarter than men, but girls are proven to do better academically than boys because of the way schools are taught. Boys learn better "hands on" and girls learn better from listening and reading. By the time people are out of school, any differences disappear because the working world is nothing like school and does not favor girls anymore.

I think when it comes to academics, or presentations women do much better. However, the majority of men have a better understanding of how machines work, and in some cases better with working with their hands. Of course there are exceptions in both cases. It is a proven fact that women have a longer attention span and men are easily distracted lol.. but men are better with fixing problems and coming up with resolutions. Women on the other hand are better with communicating and expressing their ideas or opinions. You can also relate this to any man-women relationship, haha. Both genders have their strong and weak points

Not being flippant, but men and women are better at different things.
Women can multitask - men have a better understanding of the physical world. Girls tend to do better at shcool, but that's becuase of the ways children are taught.
The list goes on and on. Basically, we're just different. No better, no worse.

It seems that way, but men and women consistenly score about the same on intelligence tests. Women excel in certain areas, just as men do. The truth is that men and women need each other, at least I think so.

No it is not, however it is scientific proved that the part of the brain which is managing anger ang rage is much more bigger in females than males.(just above hypothalamus).
that may explain why girls are more logical, calm and sometimes even consider more mature than men, especially when they take a decision involving emotional. this is another explanation in women's resistance to violence. Men use more violence than women. however i believe that these differences is the one that brings the two sexes together creating the magic of love. If IQ tests are considered to be reliable then intelligence does not depend on sex. Intelligence depends on individual.

Many intelligence tests (being designed mostly by men) would appear to prove that males are more intelligent.
Schools and Universities on the other hand would disagree with this claim.
I myself realise that they think differently. I need pressure and competition, whilst the girlfriends I have had needed calm thought.
It meant that I could never balance my finances, whilst she could never win an argument with the bank manager. But we could do both together.

In some ways, yes. In other ways, no. Very subjective, and very individual.
This is why they need each other.
Example: Men read maps very well. I got my poor hubby lost because I didn't realize an inch was a hundred freaking miles!
