If you will check TMZ.com, or yahoo.com/movies you will see the photos from "300" red carpet premiere. All actors are basically the same height, so he would not be as tall as 7 fit.

Also check www.rottentomatoes.com if you would like and you can see the clip of the interviews of the actors where they said it was a special effect.

The actor who played Xerxes is Brazilian born actor Rodrigo Santoro . He is actually 6 foot 2 and 3/4 inches.

well the actor who plays Leonides is 6'2" and the actor who plays the God King (Xerxes) is listed as 6'2 3/4"
so it's gotta be computer effects.

No...he is around 6 feet tall...they used camera tricks to make him appear 8 feet tall

yes, he is really 8'6". there's a ton of them running around Hollywood. just like the Hobbits in "LotR' were really only 3 feet tall.

its called digital effect. they can do it quite easily now. the whole movie was done digitally, no reason they can't make a king appear taller than he is.
