People these days are really loosing it. I raise chicken for meat and eggs and I was at the farm store trying to order some more chicken and a friend asked what I was buying. I told her, and she was horrified. She said she prefers the ones from the supermarket. HELLO??? I asked her whether she thinks that the chicken at the supermarket grow on trees or something... does she not realize that those chicken get killed in the same way (and probably much worse than the ones I kill for myself. At least mine have a very decent life and a fast relativelly painless death. And mine are healthier (no hormones/chemicals for mine).

Last time I ordered at KFC, the BBW called me a cracker and all I got from the manager was a $5 gift certificate.

you get more than dead chicken when you eat KFC-you also get rat hairs, growth hormones, antibiotics, and steroids-KFC is notorious for raising sickly chickens and having deplorable living conditions for the birds-all stacked on top of eathother with the feces from the top one falling down to the others making the lower birds sick. If you eat chicken (or any meat for that matter), you eat fecal matter too.

Well I think it was extreemely considerate of you to order it dead. Much easier to get it dead in a bucket than alive and flapping and full of feathers!

Kids these days!

yes, this is very funny...but kids have no humor when it comes to their parents.

my step daughter would want to go to the store and asked for some money...so my wife (their mother) did not have any bills but had some change on our dresser...
my oldest stepdaughter was in tears when she had to make her purchase in quarters, nickels and dimes and pennies..
the younger step daughter (little tattle tale) said that her sister was crying as we humiliated her..etc etc
both my wife and i grew up dirt poor and were amazed at this reaction as we never had money when we grew up and were very grateful for any money no matter what shape...

also, my step children were always embarrassed to use the food stamps there mom got (before i met her) and would be so shamed to use food stamps..their mom told them that if they wanted to eat..then they better learn to be a little humble when you got to live on charity...sometimes all they ate was tomatoes and potatoes..that's poor..

If your daughter's a teenager, you could have asked for a Diet Coke and she would have been embarrassed. If she's not, well, next time ask for live chicken and see which embarrasses her more.

As long as it's cooked I am okay with it. Buy her some fries and tell her to hush up and be still.
