Believe it or not I got to the bank this morning and I was the first in line. I got right up to the window. We went to James Coney Island yesterday for lunch and we got right in too. That almost never happens to me.

To answer your question yes I have been to many drive thrus where there hasn't been one car ahead of me. It's all about timing and the time of the day you go to a drive thru. Try going in the morning hours usually it's early enough that no one is out and about until about 10:00a.m.

I usually catch a break on odd weekdays late at night on a few 24 Taco Bells. But that's once in a blue moon.

The joys of living in a small town is that sometimes you can be the only one in a drive-thru!

i like those "double drive thrus" where there is two lanes for ordering that converge into one lane for pickup...Then i fly up to the available ordering speaker and order fast so i can get in front of the woman in the other lane who is wasting time asking her 3 year old what she wants to eat. For petes sake lady, you are the parent! order and if your kid won't eat it then i guess they go hungry until they learn!

It happens sometimes. Even with having to wait...it beats having to drag the kids in and out of the car.

Not at Taco Bell... but if you go to Subway or Hardee's you can usually end up first in line

I stay away from those places at "peak times" (like early AM, noon, and 5 in the afternoon)
