Post a cash reward, say $100 per head. Americans would jump at the chance to turn in these illegals.
That amount is a pittance compared to the costs these illegals cause us in terms of social services, medical care, education, law enforcement, etc.
I remember some city had a "gun turn-in program" which offered $100 per gun turned in, no questions asked. They were very successful and got like over 2,000 guns off the street.
Cannot the same strategy be used nationwide to eradicate the problem of illegal immigration?

Enforce the laws that are already in place which punish the empolyers of illegal workers.

We're talking about human beings. Not guns in the streets. Despite what you have heard, most of these people are working, supporting families and the majority are paying taxes.
Since all you apparently care about is money let me put it this way. You, as a tax payer, can pay $100 "a head" for illegal aliens. Or you can give them a path to apply for legal status. To do so would cost the typical illegal alien over $1000. That's $100 going out per person or $1000 coming in. Not to mention that once they do become legal the ones who are not paying income tax will begin to do so.

There are police departments that fax the names of illegals in their prisons but the fed gov't won't come and take them.
The solution is shut down the borders and make it very difficult for illegals to do things. You need to be legal to get a driver's license or a job. Another item would be to adopt the fair tax then illegals would not be able to afford to live here.

Are u running for office LOL. I think it would help but there would also be a lot of people turning in legal immigrants just because they want the 100.

Build a wall on both borders. Make it high, make it long, plant land minds between the layers. Stop all government taxpayer funded aid to non-citizens. Arrest all who employe illegals. This will stop the flow of new comers and force the non-productive to leave. Those already here who are paying their way are welcome to stay
