i need to know as i have moved in 3 months ago and we have strange things happening its owned by a private estate call somerleyton in east anglia

You can go to the court house and look thru all the deeds concerning that property. It's tedious work since there may be a lot of deeds, but you'll find out how far back the deeds date and that should tell you the original owner. Or, an attorney can do a deed search for you.

Ask the neighbours if they`re the same type build house, and why would you need or want to know about previous tenants?

You could check the electoral register for previous occupants but I am sure that if it is rented then their might be a few.

You could try a Land Registry search at http://www.landregisteronline.gov.uk/ and see what that turns up.

Go the city and ask for title records and landtract and such, they should be able to help!!

you can try asking it, but if that falls check nail heads side walks ask your neighbor or check deeds.
