Well, my phone got wet a couple of times...(son dropped it in the toilet once!! Luckily, it was clean though!) and I put it in front of a vent that was blowing air at it...I changed the direction and gently shook it a few times so that if there were any water drops just sitting there, they would move around and get air to them as well...if it has been that long though, you may be out of luck...

Hi Caroline,
Don't fret. Once I put my cell phone though the washing machine and it was fine. Simply take your phone apart, as much of it as you can and let it dry over night. The next morning it should be fine. The hair dryer may speed up the process but it isn't required; I've never owned one meself!
Cheers!

When electronic gadgets get wet, it is recommended to put them in a baggie of rice for a few days. The rice pulls out the moisture, and they work again. I would recommend taking it apart then putting it in the rice.

My nephew of 2 yrs old drop my sister's cell phone on the toilet. It didn't work for months. She had to buy a new one after 3 months then suddenly it started working again.
