Depending on the player you are using, you probably just don't have the correct CODEC to play your file. Whatever type of file it is (.avi,.mov, etc) just google that extension with the word codec, download whichever one is free, and you should be able to play your file just fine.

You may not have the proper extension downloaded to your system. Check if you have software that blocks notification that you need to down load a player file ands then allow temporary pop up to see the required extension.

use vlc player . its free to download windows player sucks
