There's not a lot you can take, but more than you think. However, your obstetritian will not give you anything or tell you anything other than Tylenol. You'll need to call you regular doctor to get any relief. Just make sure he knows you are pregnant. I had a kidney stone when I was pregnant, which was actually more painful that labor, and my obstetritian said to take Tylenol. What a joke! My regular doctor prescribed Tylenol with codiene, and there were no ill effects.

Hot compresses and hot washcloths on the face can be very helpful with sinus problems. Avoiding allergens can help too.

Avoiding milk products can prevent making your sinus problems worse, because dairy stimulates phlegm production.

You can take one tyelnol extra strength (not two) or two regular strength tylenol. Anything else might damage the baby, so you would be taking a big risk.

plain Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is also safe during pregnancy but it will make you very sleepy.

I wouldn't take anything but tylenol. For sinus problems (I had that really bad during pregnancy) your dr can prescribe a rx called nasonex or flonase which helps ALOT. Good luck

Tylenol and Benadryl is what my OB/gyn let me take. There is a procedure your Ear Nose & Throat doctor can do in their office where they flush out your sinuses. Pregnant women are prone to sinus problems, so you might want to consider having it done. I had wicked sinus infections while pregnant, then after they were flushed I didn't get sick anymore. I still use nasal saline to flush out my nose every morning in the shower, it's great stuff.

Pretty much Tylenol and tums. That's it. I know how you feel. I have migraines and they got worse when I was pregnant. Just relax, put your feet up, get a cold washcloth, darken your room, and hope for the best. As for the sinus problems you can probably use nose saline solution.

It sucks 'cause I have back problems & used to take muscle relaxers & pain killers, now all I can take is tylenol. I don't even like to take 2 off those. I just take 1.
I'd wait for your Dr. to call you back :)
