For a project I need a few symobols ( meaning objects landmarks etc.) that reprsent Antartica. thanks

How about Penguins, polar bears, glaciers.

The outline of the Antarctic continent is often used on logos etc, such as the Office of Polar Programs at the National Scienc Foundation. For South Pole the compass rose is often added.

South pole, you could make a cartoon image of a pole out of the ice. The most famous image of that continent is of course penguins. Melting glaciers or science station could work as well. Good luck.
