By looking deep inside and realizing that you are in fact happy with who you are, even if you are not happy with the circumstances of your life........Also, by being in places that makes you feel as such, as you said, when on the beach........
Also, i believe, that you can sometimes command that inner peace by being optimistic and always hoping for a better future......Seek out the positive in each event (might be hard sometimes), and always look for the rising tide!
For you at another time: Love can also bring you that sense of calm when you have it, and you know that its depths are true and never ending...........Before you gain this sense of trust and security, Need Help!, wait until you find that man who treats you as you deserve, and maybe even wait until after your marriage.......It will happen, trust me.....
email me if you need more help here, or further explanation about any part, or for suggestions on how to accomplish anything.....b

With Grassy that inner peace is not far away. Our walks on the beach will bring us both inner peace and a certain relief from anxiety. A bottle of wine and the crashing shoreline and the moon up above. What could be finer than to be with Grassy at the diner in the morning.

sit quietly in a darkened room for a while and concentrate on your breathing. It takes a while to feel better, but if you set a timer of some kind for an hour (silent, like your cell phone) then after about 20 mins you'll relax and you'll get benefits straight away. Really, it's called mindfullness, but meditation works too. Sitting with yourself is the only way it happens and it's really worth it.

Church is a good place to start.
Even inside the salon as they massage my back and give me a nice haircut. lt doesn't have to be a far-flung place to experience inner peace.

you just have to find something that calms you naturally.... my peace after a chaotic day comes from holding my daughter while she sleeps in my arms. before i had children, my sanity came from taking a long bath and listening to nothing but my own heartbeat.
