It says now you get £1 for every £4 you sell. But does it also go on how many customers you have aswell.

Hi I'm a Sales Leader, recruiting reps as well as putting out brochures on my own territory. My area is quite a good one as I have a medium sized village to myself, so I bring in at least £50 a campaign, and at Christmas anything up to £150 a campaign, for no more than a couple of hours work every three weeks!!
Sales Leadership is harder and does require a lot more commitment. You recruit reps into your team, and you earn from their sales as well as your own, you also encourage your own reps to become Sales leaders, as you earn on their team's sales as well. Finding reps is hard work, especially in Norwich it seems LOL!!! But the rewards are there, I'm a long way off earning a fulltime income from it, but I DO LOVE doing it!!

You have to sell at least £74 worth stuff to earn 20% (£20 for £100) and £140 to earn 25% (like you say £1 for every £4)

your best customers will more than likely be friends/family/ work colleagues so work on them first, until you feel ready to go out onto your territory if you've been given one!!

I used to be a rep - quite a couple of years ago - they are not a nice company to represent - now that I look back I regret it. The discount they give you is based on that particular order sales numbers not historic numbers and if you dont buy something from one campaign they give you a hard time about it. I found the executive level to be very high pressure on the reps. I was always my best customer so never made any profit. Wouldnt recommend it to somebody trying to make a buck, but if you use alot of avon products yourself give it a try and get a taste of it.

It would be ok if you could have loads of captive customers- like a big family or maybe if you work on a factory but 25% commission isn't a lot when you have to pay postage and buy the samples and even buy the catalogs.
Some people do really well with it but I ended up spending a lot of money and everyone got sick of getting Avon stuff for pressies !

I was a rep 25 years ago. Since my route was a bunch of apartments to college students it was lots of fun. It was a hobby and I spent all my earnings. Plus I was able to know on one door and have 6 potential buyers. I really liked it.

At the time I was pregnant with kid #2 and I had a 3 year old. Michael was the "Avon kid" and after I had Kristen, the girls always invided me in.

However things have changed so I don't know what it is like with routes and the fact that women are working and they are not home during the day.

i worked for avon for a while when i was at school and it was very hard work! you have to pay for each catalogue you take, and once you've delivered them if you don't get them back they don't give you your money back. you have to send away your order by a specific time and then when they send you the stuff you have to sort it all out and deliver it to the houses and collect the money. i can't remember the percentage of the takings that you get to keep, but it's certainly not very much.

i think of they might the two deliver you a verify or credit or direct deposit. call the Avon provider type in case you purely do e-rep its 8 50 each and every 2 weeks and you purely get 20% earnings

I thought about doing avon, but everyone I know that sells it does not do well. I chose to do Purse party instead.

If you are disciplined and like working in sales, it can be good. You have to put the time into it to make it lucrative.

its hard especially if you live in a small town, you have to talk to alot of people to get customers and sales. usually you end up spending your own money.
