I am working and I enjoy what I do but I have also been interviewing for the last year to try and get out of the comfort zone and try something new. How much rejection should I take before I accept what and who I am and just commit to my job?

Keep accepting the rejection until you get hired! Meanwhile, enjoy your current job and make the most of it. It's smart to develop a set of "back up" skills. You never know what will happen.

If you enjoy your job and are comfortable there, why not relax and commit to it? There are other ways to try something new - take a class, do volunteer work, etc.

When it's meant to be it will all fall into place.

Theres nothing wrong with trying to increase your abilities, especially if your in a comfort zone. Just keep trying until someone says yes. It's great that you enjoy your line of work

Monster.com has a personality profile test you can take that will categorize the type of worker you are. They have 9 categories. (I came out "visionary") It tells you the types of careers and jobs that are suited to your personality. I'm not sure how helpful this is, but it's fun to do.
