Is Alex Jones legit or is he just mad at something?

If what he says is real then we're in a world of ****! Why would he be so adement at expressing his point and having his own radio show if it's just propaganda? What does he have to gain? Money? Why put his own life in danger over just money? Does anyone else follow him?
