craftsman des not make sump pumps others make it and sears puts their name on it to resell. go to lowes or home depot and get one.

Maybe I'm all wet on this answer, but I would consider an off-the shelf universal power supply from your local computer department. Maybe something like this 450 watt model for $90. Here's the rub: at full load you get 11 minutes of power, at half load you get 19. That's batteries for you!

while you're shopping, check into the water powered back-up pumps, they run off of your municipal water supply. and in the event your power is out for an extended period, you don't have to worry about any batteries going dead. they pump at a 1 to 1 ratio, every gallon of city water through the pump, pulls a gallon of water out of the crock.
