we messed up this season because of 3 main reasons..
1..wenger thinks to much of his kids, yes we thumped liverpool and just beat tottenham but that was also with the intro of a few first teamers namely eboue at spurs.
2..henry is not fit mentally or phisically.he should of been given the first 2,3 months off, and we should of played the team wenger said he was gonna stick with.451 with adebayor on his own..that team made united look average, and a 3-0 win at the lane.
3..he (wenger)failed to sign the players we are desperate for , a big centre half(curtis davis.)and a goal scorer(andy johnson).
so yes i suppose it is incompotence, but we will still finish above you and qualify for champ league so an awful season has some high points.
as for this a team for the future shxt , i dont buy it...he keeps shipping out the talent..stokes and lupoli both gone and both good.

I know what you mean I am not an Arsenal fan but I think Arsenal did throw away this season and I also don't think they can compete with Chelsea and United next season as well. All the young players they got and the rebuilding I think was timed for this season because this was the season where Arsenal moved to a new stadium. It will take time for all the young players to develope and for Arsenal to become a force again.

Rebuilding the team?! So you don't think losing Henry for twelve games RVP for the last third of the season Clichy for the first six games ( with our third choice right back taking his place) and Gallas for umpteen games should have any bearing of the position we're in at the moment? What would you be like without Berbatov? and yet we've lost our two best strikers plus more, played with makeshift teams most of the time( players playing out of position). If I was you I'd quit slating us as it show's your team up even more , you spent millions in the tranfer market and your still behind us so if we having a bad time and you can't get near us, then what's the chances of your second rate team. as for rebuilding Jol's been at it so long with your team your probably get a preservation order slapped on it. Before you fault others look at your own teams failings, that'll keep you occupied for the rest of the season.

When the Spurs have a better season/team than Arsenal then ask this question. Otherwise, stick to worrying about your second rate UEFA Cup.

because they are rebuilding. they have a young squad who could potentially grow up together and gel into a great team. consistency is key to building a great team. look at where my team leeds utd are now. the field about 30-40 different players a season and look where it got them. heading into div.3!!! be patient and it will pay off. arsene wenger knows what he is doing. arsenal probably havent the financial muscle to goout and buy megastars at the minute, and that doesnt always guarantee success. again look at leeds. you wouldnt want the same to happen to arsenal would you.

Why have Tottenham never won a game against Arsenal in 7 years? Why were Tottenham 2-0 up and still couldn't win the game against Arsenal and later lost the replay 3-1? Maybe you should be asking yourself these questions...

Think Arsenal's problems are more about letting seniors go/giving them a hard time as regards contract renegotiation, than giving youth a chance. They've become a little to ageist and need a better balance.
That said they're still still a better side than Spurs on a smaller budget.....

Because their team is a bunch of kids. It may have been a mistake for Arsenal to have put itself in its current position, but it is certainly a position of rebuilding.
...Besides, they've still had a better season than the Spurs.
