My son is 4 months old and I have had the same problem in the past. The one thing that has helped me the most is the Baby Einstien Videos. My son loves the baby mozart one. He will watch it over and over if I let him. It really seems to stimulate him also. He just coos, talks, and giggles the whole time it is on. He has been watching it almost daily since he was about 8 weeks old. I put him in his swing in front of the tv and he is so happy. My husband just bought an exersaucer about 1 week ago and my son loves it too. His attention span goes out about after 20-30 minutes, but it gives us a little time to get things done. My son loves to swing and listen to the ocean sounds(we have an ocean wonders aquarium swing.) Walking with him is good for the both of you. Try reading to him, it's never to early to get started. My boy loves looking at the pictures. We also sing and dance together and he enjoys that too. Also, try putting a mirror infront of her. That keeps my baby entertained for a while. Good luck, and remember, you will look back on this someday and know these were the best times you spent with her.

The things that worked for me and my 5 month old is putting her in a front carrier and taking her to the mall, or as previously suggested toys r us, we will also take her to a skating rink which you don't have to pay to go and watch. The rain forest jumperoo she really likes but nothing works more then a DVD called the wubbulous world of Dr. Seuss. She will watch it for the entire hour and a half if we let her, she is kicking and screaming in delight. We got this from wal mart in the discount bin when she was 3 months, I thought the vibrant colors would be good stimulation for her, although I am not a big fan of having her watch a lot of TV, but sometimes it's the only way I can get lunch is if she watches that. You can get the DVD for like 3.00 on Ebay.
I hope this helps, good luck and God bless!

My third child is just like that. He is eight months old now and still enjoys lots of stimulation. I am exhausted, but he is happy most of the time. some babies just need more interaction than others. Keep trying I am sure something will work eventually. My son is happiest outside and when the weather is bad he still likes looking out the window.

Try putting her in a baby nest that allows her to sit up, she may appreciate the different viewpoint and being able to play with toys better.
Also try a baby bouncer.
If she is still bored then give up and get a baby carrier, then she can be with you all the time and you can get on with whatever you want to do.

If she can hold her head up ok you could get and exersuacer. My son loved his at four months. I helps strengthen their legs too. There are toys all aound it for stimulation, just make sure she can fit supported in it.
My son loves baby einstein videos, I recommend them highly. You daughter will be amazed by them and will watch it intently!
Read to her and play music for her and encourage her to play with her toys. Give her tummy time everyday! Talk to her all the time and sing to her, that is really all you can do, oh Hug her and love her as muck as you can. They love physical contact!

There is a device available which was once called a 'baby bouncer'. I'm not sure if it's still called that but I found this a God send for entertaining both my girls. You hook it onto the door frame and strap the baby in the harness and he/she hangs with their toes touching the floor which enables them to bounce and turn. It strengthens their legs and you can carry them from room to room and hook them onto any door frame. They love this and they are upright which they adore.

I had the same problem. My girl used to cry as soon as I moved from her. After a while I just start leaving her to cry for a while so she could learn to play by herself. It's working for me as well I'm taking her to todds groups, it helps a lot. My girl do smth new everytime I take her there as well for me its a social event to meet other mums and have chat with adults =)
Best wishes

This is a natural program that you can try to cure your acid reflux http://acidreflux.toptips.org
Acid reflux disease, also known as gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), occurs due to the coexistence of several medical and lifestyle conditions. Physiological factors that trigger GERD include lower esophageal sphincter (LES) hypotonia (the gradual weakening of the LES), along with retrograde flow of stomach contents into the esophagus, and the level of sensitivity of the esophageal mucus to the reflux content.

thats how my son was. i just let him play with things he sees me using, like the wipe box, tape, empty water bottles. he loves it. i also just let him be alone on the floor somtimes and he is actually devloping very well, about a month ahead of everyone else his age. try getting some of that laminated like paper (flyers and stuff that has the smooth surface) and let your baby play with that. my son loves paper but we have to be so careful letting him play with it. always keep an eye out. also try blankets. it sounds scary but my son likes to put the blanket over his face adn try to kick it off and does it over adn over again. at first i was scared but now its a game he plays all day. we also got one of those huge yoga balls from walmart, thats amazing to babies. have you gotten an exascuer? they are great.also baby einstine movies.

try putting her in a baby swing. the motion should calm her and keep her a little busy and slowly put her down for a nap. this worked with my daughter. she also loved the little bouncer seats.
