You can take it off the market only if your agreement with your realtor allows for this. You may have a 30 day agreement for example. If the realtor finds a buyer within that contract period and you take the offer then you are still liable to pay a commission. All you have to do is reject any offers that come in, if you don't want to sell your house though and most likely if you say you don't want to sell, the broker will just take it off the market anyway.
