Is it possible to get cramps when ovulating?

Yes, sometimes you feel cramps around the time you are ovulating. Watch your vaginal secretions; they will become more abundant (watery, slippery) around the time of ovulation. Also, a lot of women (myself included) experience an increase in their sex drive around this time. It's really interesting when you start to notice the signs of ovulation. Your breast and nipples may feel more sensitive to touch. Remember your hormones are changing at this time.

But since the length of your period is so variable I would suggest charting your temperature every morning before you get out of bed (at the same time EVERY morning). You'll notice a big rise in your temperature after you ovulation. This is really one the best ways you can confirm ovulation has happened. And you can use just a normal thermometer.

It seem like women tend to ovulate a week before their period.
