Well, if you ran, you would fall and get water in your underware. that would be wetter than if you just got it on your head, jacket, pants, and shoes.

Common sense says that the longer you are in the rain, the wetter you will become. I've heard this saying too, but it doesn't make any sense. I've also heard that hot water in your ice cube trays will freeze faster than cold water. Same illogic.
