Vince Russo is the main writer at TNA now and he, along with Ed Ferrara, were the writers during WWF's Attitude era, i.e. the era in which they managed to eventually overcome the old WCW. In that era they frequently used vulgar imagery and explicit language etc, so I would simply assume Russo is trying to employ the same formula to win fans back.

I can remember numorous times where WWE superstars have caled each other bitches and didn't the Rock call Umaga last week a wrinkled something penis? Using foul langguage against each other just makes the storyline more intense.

That's in all companies, they want to appear as if reality so they create rivalries involving hatred, but hardly any of TNA's feud are like that they involve respectful competition. WWE's worse they have incest, necrophilia, monkey craps, jibronis, abductions, factions, homosexuals, nutters, nudity (on men, women and 80 year old), vampires, midgets, racism, freaks, thieves, pirates, diet experts, Iraqi rebels, soldiers, rappers, savages, hos, "Cool" guys, legend obsessives, kings, queens, suck ups, male cheerleaders, cowboys, XXX male porn stars, Samoan tribal warriors who don't speak, 500lb "Love Machine", goths, 40 year old disco freaks, people dressed like superman, Chinese Cowboys, boogeymen, teachers and people who can't wrestle, and you say TNA's bad because of a little fowl language.

Because vulgar things attract viewers. they cannot compete with the WWE talentwise so they has to use other means. If there were two different news shows, one with positive accomplishments and the other with gunfights and car chases, which one do you think would get the most ratings.

i agree totally, but they are simply trying to just out do wwe. they figure the more extreme they make it the better. they are taking this approach as opposed to just thinking of better storylines and pushing their talent. its stupid, and they have to realize that its mostly young people that like it, and for that they will never be as big as wwe

Desperate to get ratings. They need to focus on themselves and not WWE.
