The dumbest i have ever seen is the New skittles commercial, where the guy has a skittles leak on his ceiling and the landlord said he could fix it. So his puts handles on the ceiling and then puts a tiny guy up there to eat the skittles as they fall.

Girl, I agree with you!!!!! That's the dumbest crap I've ever seen! I was going to say that same exact thing before I read your response!! What was the point in that??? Why did they have to put somebody up there on the ceiling to chew up the skittles?? That chewing would drive me completely nuts....btw, what's wrong with a Skittles leak????

Hmmm very good question. I would say the old skittles bubble gum commercial when the girl flys away after blowing a bubble. That was SO dumb

Most of them are pretty funny now but I'd say back in the 80s, commercials were terrible!! I try not to watch them, even now - I mute out the sound when they come on and do other stuff until the show I'm watching returns.

I think the dumbest commercial (aside from local ads) would be one I actually heard on the radio for Sour Starburst. One guy asks the other if he wants some, he says yes, and then starts screaming for about 10 seconds. The first guy asks him what's wrong and he replies that he got a paper cut. The first guy then asks if he still wants a sour starburst, he says yes, and then replies..."Wow, these are sour". Dumb, but freakin' funny!

Its not really new but the burger king or mcdonald's (i can't remember) where the father and son are dressed as big burgers and the son says something stupid about liking a girl and the father says, "here, you better take this napkin for protection." So stupid!

I cannot stand any of the Geico commercials! I hate that little gecko they use. It acts so cocky and arrogant. And the accent? Horrible! Someone ought ta shoot that damn lizard!
