I just got my first cell phone(Nokia 7373)which came with its own case(something that looks like a pink wallet)I put it on general but i think it didn't work so now when I got home from school and put it on the desk the next time I wanted to use it it wasn't there, problem is, the pink case makes it look like it's something else, unless it has Nokia on it, what do I do? I tried calling but i think its on silent or the battery went low, it's been 3 or 4 days since I've been looking for it, any tips?

"you'll probably see the light"
That's part of the problem, the Nokia phone case covers up everything except for the phone's jewelry thing.

I tried calling but it keeps saying unavailable and stuff, i looked everywhere, places that are even too small for a phone to fall in and so on,I went and asked if my phone has the locating chip, it does but I had to know the phone's serial no, what do I do??:'( the phone was just new a week ago, it couldn't have grown legs and run away, please be serious about this, my parents are already sick of looking everywhere and now I'm embarrassed because someone made a rumor about it at school.

Search in, under and behind everything in your room.

First answer makes a good observation. The phone lights up when you call it. May have to wait until dark and with the house lights out try calling and see if you find it. Then you just need to keep looking. It if was on the desk, look behind on the floor, maybe it fell off.
Do not assume you not see the light because of the case. IF, you really want to find your cell you need to try everything! You get it in your head you can not see the light then you will not.
One last thing. Some times when a friend's cell is off and I try to call it will say the phone is unavailable. IF, the Battery is Low the phone will turn off and may give you a message similar. If, it not say it unavailable it may still be going.

Does your phone vibrate when it's on silent? If it does, then try turning off all noise (tv, radio, shut the door, etc.) and call it. Listen everywhere for the vibrating. Maybe it fell off the bed into the frame or something? Also are you absolutly positive that you had it in your room last? If not then try calling it and listening for the vibration while retracing your steps from the last time you had your phone. The only other thing I can think of is that someone in your house or possibly your dog (if you have one) took it and put it somewhere. My dog has taken my phone in the backyard on more than one occasion, so I hope that's not the case for you! Good luck and I hope you find it

I would say, you just have to look the old school way...if the phone is on silent and/or the battery is dead, then there is a slim chance of finding it by calling it from another phone...I would just do a good spring cleaning and search EVERY place I could possible think of. (Maybe try a metal detector...I don't know.) GOOD LUCK!!

With the silence feature on you should see the light from the screen that is if it's not hiding under something. Usually when it's on silence it sort of vibrates a little. Ooooh if the battery is low, hmmmmm just keep looking the good ol' fashion way.

Ooooh, Snap, my bad.

Ask someone else in your house if they saw it. Or you could try to look absolutely everywhere.
The last thing you could do is say to yourself "If I was a phone, where would I be?"
If that doesn't work either ask some friends to help you look for it.
