Selling them on eBay, to friends and even at a garage sale will get you more money then EB or Gamestop would ever give. People get the raw end of the with trade-ins and selling things to game shops. But if you want money, even a little, quickly, that might be your option.

Game Stop will gave you cash for games and systems
Also check your local game stores (where I live we have The Game Exchange) they will sometimes give you a better return for your stuff
