No. I don't think our society does enough to educate kids on what to expect as they grow up. Big brothers these days rarely share with their little brothers their experiences in puberty or adolescence, from masturbation to social pressures to school work and what to expect. And adults seem to be totally ignorant of the things that concern boys as they mature, with all the focus on girls' concerns. So the chance to see each others' questions and answers is a terrific benefit.
And from what I've seen in the Adolescent section, I'm concerned that teens' questions will be answered by other teens (and even younger boys) who don't know any more than the one asking the question. Better that adults who have been there themselves and know from experience how it all turns out have the chance to weigh in with their experience.
Was there a particular concern you had about teens not having their own section?

I voted for your suggestion and note with pleasure that staff has at least read it.
Yes, there needs to be a safe place for teen boys to ask questions, but there also needs to be a place where men can ask their questions and not get them lost among hundreds of "Is my wee-wee big enough?" questions. We men have things we'd like to ask about and get answers from other men, not giggly ripostes from youngsters who have no idea what a PSA level is, etc. Separating the two makes sense to me.
There is an "Adolescents" category already, but the "wee-wee" questions come here. So it would have to be explicit that one new category is "Adult Men's Health (Over Age 20 Only)" or some such thing.

If they do split it out, this is probably what would happen:
(1) It would be filled with questions about penis size, whether it is OK, and whether women care.
(2) No one would go there to answer the same question over and over again.
(3) People that post there see no one ansewring. They go back to posting in the general men's section.
I'm not trying to be pessimistic or cynical. Young men obsessing about penis size is a repetitive topic, as is young women asking about whether their period is normal. I get tired of seeing the same thing over and over again as well. However, I just remind myself that most of them are asking because they want to know, and people with experience or knowledge can provide some feedback. This may not be something they feel comfortable talking about to friends or adults they know. Anonymity of the internet provides the degree of comfort to ask the question, and it's better that they ask than go stumbling around in ignorance.

I agree and have voted for your proposal. I was browsing the Men's Health questions recently and found that issues relevant to a 40 year old male were difficult to find in the sea of sexual questions posed by apparently young men. In addition, it was apparent that many of the questions were nothing more than an excuse for kids to say 'penis' in a public forum.

Actually, I think the teen male forum could be reduced to several postings and an FAQ section. Add the obligatory statements about penis size, masturbation techniques, where hair grows, how much, etc., and you're set.

they're issues that may in elementary terms be got here upon after hundreds and hundreds of trials. and of direction, strict restrict desires to be in place. besides the fact that if, because of the fact the muse of technology is often changing via new discoveries, we'd desire to even have sympathy to the drug business enterprise as nicely. they are no longer miracle makers, they only attempt to make revenue with the help of merchandising something that they "think of" might help different persons. think of the international without antibiotics and different medicine, what number people might ought to die? If we agree that technology can get replaced, the drug business enterprise would possibly no longer have an excuse of increasing medicine expenditures because of the fact of regulation healthful.additionally if we glance on the different area that has used the socialist device it has slowed down and did no longer stay as much as its Utopian promise. No device is appropriate yet open and loose marketplace is the main suitable accessible.
