Although it's not a common occurance, it's been known to happen. There are some women (usually larger women), who cycle throughout a whole pregnancy, get negative tests, and eventually go to the hospital for what they think are gas pains, only to find out that they're in labor.

Again, while uncommon, it's certainly not unheard of.

It is possible to have your period but you will always get a positive pregnancy test if you are that far along, mostly by blood but you would eventually get a positive one through the urine test. If you are large enough to tell you are pregnant than why would you need to take a pregnancy test especially if you have been to the doctor? The pregnancy levels in your body have to double every so often I believe it is every week or so, I could be wrong. I am only in my 4th year of medical school so this stuff is still being learned. The period thing is very rare during a pregnancy because when you have your period the lining of your uterus has to shed every month when you become pregnant the pregnancy hormones sort of shut this off because the environment has to be suitable for life and if the lining keeps on being shed you could end up losing the baby but like I said the whole period thing is rare.
Good luck on your whole bet thing.

Unlikely but possible. I never got a positive with First Response when I was pregnant with my daughter, but did with a generic store brand. And I've heard of people that have still had a period, or thought they did, while pregnant. It's always possible that the bleeding could be for other reasons, some women bleed off and on throughout pregnancy.

Yes you can be pregnant and not get a positive hpt. Also you can still have your period. Although this is not good. Usually complications arise when this happens.

I am now on my third pregnancy and hpt's have never been accurate for me!! They have always shown a negative result!

I also had bleeding every month when my period would have been due throughout with my first pregnancy and for the first four months of this pregnancy!!

Well tell your friend that it is true... my sister in law was wearing maternity clothes and definitely prego and still getting negative results at the doctor. She never got a positive result from urine, only from blood. So yes it is possible.

Yes. I have never had a positive home pregnancy test and I am going on my fourth child. Go to the doctor and get a blood test.

It is rare but it does happen...sometimes there is just not enough hcg in the urine to produce a positive result....blood tests are a much better if you think you are pregnant and not getting a + result on a urine test...Good Luck!

yea HPT have a miles better cost of fake negatives then fake positives. so which you are able to def bypass on your scientific professional, deliver the single which asserts advantageous, (in case you nonetheless have it) or merely tell them it replace into advantageous and merely see in case you are able to are available for a blood try. those are greater precise, like one hundred% greater! they might see in case you in elementary terms have a tiny little bit of HCG on your device, the place because of the fact the HPT can in elementary terms inform you in case you have a definite volume. So yea eating that juice might have diluted the HCG. sturdy success!!
