I think I would choose the 50,000. I mean, sure, we have the resources to save and help as many people as possible in a catastrophy like that, but the fact is that no matter what we do, 50,000 people WILL die! Even if 75,000 got hurt, God told us that 50,000 will be dead out of that, so there's no point in trying to save them. Going with that reasoning, I'd much rather have 50,000 guaranteed dead than 75,000 guaranteed.

Your life is spared either way. What matters is your choice. Do you pretend that you are being altruistic toward your kin, but only by allowing another 25,000 to die? Is it a matter of faith, that you can trust his assurance? Would God put anybody in that position? I think I will feel like a crumb if I sent 25,000 more people to their death, for the sake of 50,000 closer to home. For all we know, the other people may actually be better than us. Too many what ifs to even consider a choice.

Since I live in the west coast and we are pretty use to earthquakes and more people here have a better chance of survival I would choose the 50,000.

75,000 because i would be allowed to choose the place to strike. I would pick somewhere where there was a lot of suffering going on and the people could not live. This may seem shallow to some of you but if they were going to suffer a long and painful death by starvation, and you could save those who were not suffering would you not.

Since this god had already chosen to kill 50k people, why would I feel it is my right or responsibility to have it kill 25k more in some distant land? By not accepting this 'god's' offer of choosing another area to experience it's wrath, I rightfully put the blame and responsibility on this so called god.
BTW - This is one of the reasons why I reject the concept of god or gods.

Well I would have to opt for 50,000 over 75,000 if I HAD to choose one or the other. There could be no justification for opting for the deaths of 25,000 additional people.

If dying is inavoidable, the pistol, it incredibly is hassle-free...although if I knew I had of project of escaping or being rescued, i might attempt my toughest to no longer sbo with soreness and take the cutting, because of the fact it would communicate longer for me to die, if he did decrease any substantial arteries (why might he, he'd prefer to charm to it out i might assume) while the pistol after some blows at close selection woud only take me out. i'm hoping the theatrics earlier the question have been only that, theatrics, the two way you're a unusual and ...'zealous' person to declare the least. i watch for greater.

All human beings are equal irrespective of country , religion , caste , colour ...So let it be 50000 instead of 75000 . Then invite people from the saved country and make them as citizen of the ruined country . That will create a balance .

Well... if you assume that you are speaking to an all knowing being of the power to do as described, would you not do a great injustice in assuming that you know better than god who should die in this earthquake?

After reading part 1, I seriously think you show signs of being a psychopath. And with this question I think you like to manipulate people's minds and enjoy it.
