Say nothing. Actions speak louder than words. Continue to be kind, caring and thoughtful. These will always be qualities that a man will look for in a girl. Call it conservative approach or what have you, still a man would want to have someone who's kind, caring and thoughtful. "Like" isn't the same as "love". Just let him be while you do what you have to do to make him love (not only "want" or "like") you. Goodluck!

You say NOTHING to him about it. You are lucky to have a best friend and you will run your friendship off into the ditch!! Keep him as a friend and be content with that. Find another guy to date.

um..i wouldn't tell him. i would not risk screwing up the friendship when he wants sum1 else. wait till he's over that person and then let him know. cuz he mite not be ready to hear it yet.
