I believe, though I could be wrong.. if you go to www.google.com , click on More.. then click on Even More.. scroll about half way down, on the right side you should see Gmail. I believe if you go this way you do not need an invite.

It's either this way.. or searching google for gmail.

I am pretty sure there is a way you can go about it now that you don't need an invite. I would send you an invite, but I cannot access my gmail from work.

You don't need an invitation. Just type gmail into a Google search and it will take you to the page where you can sign up.

In my opinion you must sign up for an gmail account and send as many invitations from it, to your yahoo account. That would be the easiest. Then you won't ask such questions again.

You do not need an invitation anymore. You can register straight at their site now, I believe. :)
