I 'swing both ways' and have been in love with a guy for 2 years now. He got a girlfriend about two months ago and I think she's really attractive. I don't want either of them to get hurt but at times it can be really difficult seeing them together. Any good advice please??

In response to one answer I've had, yes they both know I like him but I don't know if either of them know I like her or not, or at least if they do I don't know if they're taking me seriously.

Find out very tactfully, how they feel about you. You will risk the chance you will be seen as 'competition' in both their eyes and things could get really messy and neither of them will want you as a friend. Do you really want to risk their friendship and or one of them getting hurt. Of course they may be up for a 3sum, in which case, you'll have to be very honest with each other, stating your boundaries and what each other finds as acceptable. Good luck, but if i were you, i'd sit back wait till either of them were free , then make a move.

wait...so ur' telling me u've been in love with this guy for 2 years and you never told him. As far as the couples are conerned, I think it is too early to say anything about thier relationship. It might be infatuation or love. You can gamble your time and emotions and wait or simply just let it all out when he's alone (by that I mean tell him that you love him if you haven't...though if you have and he still has a girlfriend, then you know your answer).
And you said you 'swing both ways', and in that case don't you think you would have to be comfortable with your boyfriend or girlfriend to be with someone else at the same time for your relationship to develope (that's if you are looking into some kind of a stable relationship in a complex matter as 'swing both ways'). You certainly don't expect to get better off both worlds do you?
[Just a note: you should ask yourself if that is something you are looking into as a grown up into your parenthood...if yes then yes go forward, and if not maybe its just your promiscuous behavior at this point, and you'll soon be over it when the seriousness of the issue resolves in you.]

Their not the only two people in the world. Try and move on. Ok? Don't get hurt.

You need to back off otherwise it'll just get more painful for you. It wouldn't be fair for you to intrude on their relationship so you need to try to forget about them and move on,
