Who would it be great for? I think if you ask any Pakistani or Indian they would hugely object to such a suggestion. The same as most British people balk at the idea of becoming one with France and the same as Australia and New Zealand would never want to merge into one.
It's a common mistake of people to think that cultures of countries that are different to you are the same as each other.
As an outsider you might think the two countries are similar because they're next door to each other and also because they're different to you. You'll actually find that culturally India and Pakistan are very different. As a result, the inhabitants of both countries are very proud if their individual identities.

good in thought, even with the undeniable fact that it won't ensue. Pakistan and Bangladesh truthfully have been the two Pakistan, even nevertheless India became between them, and that they separated by way of rival religions, and that i'm beneficial India would purely prefer to work out Pakistan disappear off the face of the Earth, fantastically as they do no longer look to be doing lots to stop the taliban using their territory.

yes I agree, I will include Bangladesh as well. the subcontinent is big country, there has been occasions in its past history when it was one big state it has all the resources and man power, In past some 60/70 years ago, people from different religions races lived side by side peacefully.I would love it to become one country again. both countries spend too much on military and arms. being divided the people loss and forgn multinational companies reap the benefit not the population.

They'd be fighting all the time... Pakistanis would ***** about how the Hindu majority controls everything. Hindus would ***** about how the Muslims are always complaining.
I think it was a BAD idea for them to be split in the first place, but now, the damage is done. Might as well enjoy the independence that now exists.
