Good luck!

If your working, get signed off for a couple of weeks. If your not working, see if someone can look after your other two for you for a while. The only sure fire way to help with morning sickness is rest. Laying like a vegetable on the sofa watching TV. That was what my doctor told me. I was signed off for two weeks and spent them in bed. I felt like death but at the end of the two weeks the sickness had gone. I also drank plenty of Diyoralyte which stopped me becomming dehydrated.

The main cause of morning sickness is a combination of issues related to the chemical changes your body is going through. Mix a pinch of nutmeg powder with a table spoon of gooseberry juice, and take it thrice a day. Sip little by little ginger juice mixed with honey before you get out of bed. the ginger thing didnt work for me, i had to have bananas, or ate cereal dry, crackers, plain biscuits, mints.
no fruit, anything acid, milk made it worse too. maybe if its all day morning sickness things like a plainbaked potatoe with a littel bit of cheese or something for a meal or a very bland soup.
my fav was spaghetti, snapped into little peices, boiled in about a bowl of water with a stock cube, eat as soup, dont drain.

Cuppa tea and piece of buttered toast before you even get out of bed... that can help loads! A nice treat anyway, even if it doesn't work, you feel good having it in bed! It will subside by about week 12/13 so not long now.
Good luck!

I tried ginger ale (the real stuff). Having a small snack next to your bed to munch on in the morning, drinking enough water, and plenty of rest. It's really something to just work your way through though. Try deep breathing when you feel nausea coming on and relaxation.

I was told rich tea biscuits and a cup of tea would do it but that didn't work either, but at least it's better than trying to throw up when you've eaten nothing.
If you have the same problem as I did - that whatever you do you are going to be sick anyway - just make sure you have loads of liquid to make it easier

If you can nibble on a ginger biscuit BEFORE you get out of bed in the mornings, that's supposed to help. It's not first hand experience though, as I didn't get any sickness with my 3 pregnancies. Sorry girls!!!

Unfortunately much like others said it's kind of specific to each person. I am 23 weeks pregnant so this is stuff that I just delt with (3rd baby....3rd girl....worst morning sickness EVER!!!!!). But if it helps I drank sweet iced tea, and the smell of oranges (real orange peels, not airfresheners or fake oranges). Gatorade helped with my second one, and with my first, the morning sickness wasn't all that bad so I didn't have to worry about it.
It might not work for you, but I hope it helps....good luck with your family!

why don't you try a travel sickness band. its a wrist band. you can get them from any chemist. ive heard good things about them. all it does is take the edge off the morning sickness.
you have to be careful with arrowroot biscuits because they can bind you and make it a little difficult to go to the toilet.
