That depends on what you mean by "The system". If you mean government, big business, or the richest side in a dispute, then I'd say no, not always.
If you mean something like fair play, or rule of law, or the legal system, then I'd say usually it does work. Not always - nothing is perfect - but more often than not, at least. That's more than you can hope for in a lot of places.

Usually, but then that's a good thing because more often than not, the system works. If the system didn't work for the most part, it wouldn't be there.

Yes, they cover themselves all angles ,how do you beat the creater of the rules it's pretty hard to,when the creater doesn't want to be beaten.Money talks and to really take them on you need plenty of it which a lot of us don't have.
