A year ago I replaced a front wheel bearing. Then I replaced the other side front wheel bearing this month. Last month I had a bushing put in because the axle coming from the right side of the tranny to the wheel was loose. Now this morning I was going about 60 mph and there was a loud popping noise, almost sounded like a spring being hit, 6-8 times over 4-5 minutes. I could feel it in the floor of the car. It felt like it was under the driver side front. Any ideas? About ready to haul the dumb thing to the junk yard. Thanks for any help!

A popping noise when you turn the steering wheel can be attributed to a bad cv joint. The problem could also be the wheel hub/bearing assembly if it was not properly installed it will eventually fail. You need to pull the wheel off and inspect the driver side bearing and cv shaft.

The 5.4 does no longer have a timing belt because the cams are chain pushed and if the chain broke the engine would not run and may have bent valves. i'd guess the different posters are maximum superb, that a spark plug has come free or blown itself out of the threads. If a sparkplug has certainly blown itself out the threads in the cylinder head can should be repaired and this can fee some funds. desire this helps!
