As unromantic as it sounds, you need to schedule when it's going to happen. That way there's no question as to when. Yeah, it sounds horrible, but if you know that this afternoon (or whenever) is the time, then you can flirt with each other thoughout the day (by way of notes, emails, or phone messages).
As far as the "taking care of himself and shaking the bed" goes, he needs to get his @$$ out of the bed and do that somewhere else. It's fine if he needs to "relieve" whatever, but he doesn't need to wake you up to do it. That's just inconsiderate, and a bit selfish - okay, a lot selfish. He doesn't want you waking him up does he?
I think you two can find a time period that fits both, and one where no one has to lose sleep.
Good luck!!

Ok..read carefully!
If you value your marriage at all, something has to change. I found myself in a similar situation for 2 years. I have now been seperated for 7 months.
The bed shaking without you is the least of your problems. You will eventually grow apart.
My advice... Your marriage comes first, everything else can take a back seat.
Good luck!

Well, you might start going to bed a little earlier a few times a week, then if he gets a little randy at 4AM you won't be too tired.
Also, if the bed shakes (and I'm sorry, but I just busted out laughing when I read that), y'all need to buy a new AND larger mattress and box foundation. Once my wife and I upgraded to king size we never looked back!
