What version of windows? If it's windows XP, is service pack 2 installed?

Anyway the first thing you can try is to go to the device manager and right click on the mass storage driver. Select UNINSTALL on the list that pops up. Click OK to confirm device removal.

Restart your computer. When you go into windows again, windows will try to re-install it, if it doesn't it will try when you plug the camera in again. Just follow the prompts on screen. This usually works first time for windows XP.

Try that if it doesn't work give more information about your version of windows and camera etc.
