I leveled my Human Mage to 70. I dabbled with other races and classes. My son has a Dwarven Hunter and I played his character last night. Unbelieveable!

Ranged DPS and effects (like concussive shot for dazzing target). Pet that can tank. Good melee skills and mail armor at level 40. Tracking (see creatures/humans on mini-map). With skinning and leatherworking, can make his own great equipment and make money.

Anybody think warlock or some other WoW character is better?

Night elf druid, feral/resto hybrid. Can tank or dps in roughly the same gear, a quick change of gear and I'm a heavy healer, track humanoids in cat form, stealth, multiple travel forms....

Add in alchemy with its hundred gold transmutes, and all those potions everyone sucks down like candy, and you've got a goldmine. Especially if you get an alchemy specialty, with the chance to get a "free" potion/elixer/transmute.

actually, dwarven doesnt matter at all pretty much. if anything i would say a night elf hunter is better because night elfs start off with more agility than others races, and they have shadow meld which lets you be invisible while standing still. they look cooler to me too but thats personal prefrence. i have a 40 night elf hunter on a pve server and now leveling a 30 night elf hunter on a pvp server and they are outstanding. i dont think i ever lost a duel with my 40 even people up to 7 levels higher.
