Well all my family came back home to Ireland. we went to mass, wore green, wore shamrock and we went to the parade and watched the Ireland-Italy rugby match...the older crew went out to the pub and when they came home completely drunk, we had a sing-along of Irish rebel songs. It was great craic!!! its a typical Paddy's day really only it wasn't on a weekday so we didn't get an extra day off school :-(

No big deal. It was a Saturday just like most Saturdays. I saw lots of people wearing green, lots of NON Irish wearing green. I wore my uber cool green shirt that I bought from Tarzhay (Target for the lay folk!) that says "Ireland" across it. It's so cool, i might want to wear it on other days!

We had a great day, we're not Irish either, but like to wear green and have fun! It is also my husband's birthday that day, so we went out to eat and had them sing to him! My son had a "Spring Carnival" at his school and we went to that. Nice family day!

We stayed home and wore green. My kids wore green too. I pinch my husband for not wearing green. I just wanted an excuse to get back at him, he he he.....
