I think you already know the answer: most men think with their small heads.
Let's turn this into a positive: After three years, you're "back on the market" and there's a demand for you. If nothing else, this should make you feel flattered. You've still got it, babe. Just because someone wants to take you home doesn't mean you have to say yes. However, the fact remains that someone wanted you and that's a sure sign that you won't be single for long (unless your choose to be).

wow it's incredible, i know exactly how you feel. It's like every guy you talk to thinks that the only reason you are talking to them is because you want them. Well I tell you what stand up for yourself and continue with your little quest. Don't go home with someone unless you want to. I was single for about three months after being in a four year relationship. I was also engaged too. I had no idea about all the games and such that gay guys played. But I tell you what I figured them out quickly. I started out by not giving it up and a lot of guys would not call me back. So I figured that no one would be interested in dating me until I gave it up. BUT I was way wrong, because then I found a guy who called me back after not giving it up to him. It didn't take me long to figure out that this guy was looking more that just a roll in the hay. He is now my boyfriend and has been for six months now. Stick in there soldier, it's a tough battle. "love is a battlefield" But stick to your guns and He will come to you, and just talk to you and not want to go home with you. But instead he'll want to go out for dinner. Be strong, and good luck.

Dude...as a single guy I spend a lot of time studying at the library or messing with the computer instead of going to clubs or bars etc., for similar reasons. Although, it would be nice.....once in a while. I think maybe you are just too "mature" for all the games.

You sound like you have been into a wrong gathering, maybe they are not your friends, just acquaintances. I have been into lots of bachelor parties and nothing like this has happened with me.

It depends, I suppose, on what kind of vibes you were putting out. If you were being coy and flirtatious then someone assuming you're available is a natural conclusion to come to.
