I have a nokia 1100, just a basic little nokia, I've never had any trouble with it but recently, everytime I send a text message (to anyone) it doesnt send even though it says that the message has been sent in my outbox. A message flashes up when I've tried to send the text saying "number not in use". This is really puzzling me because if I click on reply to a msg that someone has just sent me then this still happens even though the message has only just been sent. My outbox says that my msg has been sent, but when I checked with my friend to see if she had received my msgs, she told me she hadnt had any msgs off me for about a week !!!! I had credit on my phone and kept on sending msgs that werent even reaching the person I was sending the msgs to, and at the same time, it was still costing me in credit to send these msgs.....!!!! I cant work it out, can anyone out there give me a clue as to what is going on with my phone????

I used to have that when a mate of mine was on o2, for some reason when I tried to reply using his number in the inbox it kept saying msg not sent, or words to that effect. Its possible that he didnt have his msg settings set up correctly. Also it could be possible your msg settings are setup wrong. Sometimes it for some reason loses the message centre number, all i did was to re-enter the message centre number and save. What you need to do is find out your message centre number, it will either be in your manual, or contact your service provider.

Everyonf suggested right thing, but let me tell you, how hard you try that ur husband turn away, all in vein. First of all print out all his call history, then write all the messages on a notebook, time and date mentioned as well. After u do it all, during the time when you, ur husband and that girl, all will be at different places, call the girl from ur own no. And teach her the lesson, which she never learned, scold her like the wife of INDIAN, with all your power, your love and your anger. She will tell this to ur husband, as he will return and if he uttered a word about this, put all your messages and call history before him and without considering you as just a woman teach him all which he forget and call him to return with all ur love, remember do it fast, every second of ur life is drowning you in the middle of ocean. After it would happen, think are you giving as much love as you should give him, if not then this was sure to happen.

It means you are trying to send text messages to a phone number that doesn't exist or to an invalid number.

i would suggest you go to a mobile phone outlet.they are pretty good in these matters.
there may be a problem with the network.
