There is software that purports to allow you to "search the web anonymously", but the one I tried caused all sorts of connectivity problems with DSL. If you insist on trying one, you can buy stand-alone versions at Office Depot, or I think one comes with Iolo's System Mechanic.

I highly recommend a good firewall--the one I use is McAfee.

The easy route is to buy the whole Norton Internet Security Suite and install that. Or the Mcafee one. That should keep intruders out. Also, make sure your windoews firewall is up.

I found some information that you may be interested in. This site has a free program to use that blocks your IP and also protects from snooping.

Also, there are steps you can take to report this as the crime that it is...http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/ ... or http://www.usdoj.gov/criminal/cybercrime/reporting.htm

Many people do not even know that websites like this exist, but they do.

I hope this helps.

I know of no program that will block your IP address, this is how every user is identified to every website you go to. I don't think you are allowed to block it. If its possible I would consult with a professional to find out. Sorry your having such problems.

Are you connected wireless? Do you have a firewall?

If your not using a firewall, its is quite simple for someone to hack your computer....If you are connected wireless, someone could also hack your computer if you dont have WEP or WPA security activated on your router....
